Boston – Particles Plus announced today the launch of their next generation remote diagnostic and service capability.
The Particles Plus instruments allow for extensive remote diagnostics over an IP from anywhere in the world. Service staff may access the instrument and diagnose issues quickly, without having to send the instrument in for service. The feature also allows for field-upgrades of the instrument software so new capabilities can be added as they become available.
“If a user has a question about the operation of their instrument, our service personnel can access the instrument remotely to review the configuration and hundreds of internal parameters within the instrument. If there’s an issue it can often be diagnosed and addressed remotely”, states Dave Pariseau, Particles Plus Chief Technical Officer.
The Remote access also allows customers to have their instrument reconfigured, adding features or changing the basic performance level. The instrument can be remotely upgraded by the Particles Plus staff, providing the customer with a configuration file that will modify the instrument, update the firmware and activate new features not found in the previous version of their firmware.
It is a revolutionary step in the Particle Counter marketplace, allowing customers anywhere in the world to easily connect with the company’s service staff for remote diagnostics and troubleshooting while saving time and money.
