Particles Plus News & Education

Portland, USA – October 5th, 2023 – Particles Plus, a leading manufacturer of particle counters and environmental sensors, participated in the American Association for Aerosol Research (AAAR) Annual Conference held October 2-6, 2023 in Portland, Oregon.

Sotirios Papathanasiou presented a “Hands-On Instrumentation Tutorial on Operating the Particles Plus Water Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) and Summarizing Collected Data.” The tutorial provided conference attendees hands-on experience with the innovative CPC technology for detecting and analyzing airborne particles created by particles Plus.

“We were thrilled to engage with top aerosol researchers and share the capabilities of our instruments,” said Mr. Papathanasiou. “The AAAR conference was an ideal venue to demonstrate how Particles Plus equipment can support critical air quality monitoring and research.”

The Particles Plus water-based CPC 15000-OEM generates supersaturated water vapor to grow particles to a detectable size. It offers reliable performance with low maintenance requirements. Conference attendees experienced first-hand how the CPC provides accurate particle count data for real-time monitoring or research applications.

In addition to the tutorial, Particles Plus showcased its latest particle counters and environmental sensors via an exhibit booth. Company representatives connected with researchers and industry leaders about applying Particles Plus technology to projects across industrial hygiene, atmospheric science, automotive testing, and more.

The AAAR Annual Conference convenes top scientists and engineers in the interdisciplinary field of aerosol research. Particles Plus was honored to engage with these experts and display innovative instrumentation for particle analysis.
