San Francisco – SEMICON® West – Particles Plus announces the acquisition of Airy Technology of Orem, Utah, an industry leading manufacturer of handheld and remote particle counter technology. With operations in Japan and China, Airy Technology’s headquarters will relocate to Stoughton, Massachusetts where it will continue to operate as an independent company.

“This is the first of several steps that will take Particles Plus to a leadership position within the indoor air quality, contamination monitoring and controlled environments markets,” said Particles Plus’ president, Adam Giandomenico.

Airy Technology has 105 distributors in 27 countries and the company has established itself as one of the world’s largest suppliers of handheld particle counters.

“Airy Technologies’ founder Kozo Amemiya has done a phenomenal job building the company as it achieved significant growth in just 4 years.  Mr. Amemiya will continue to lead the company as its Vice President of Business Development and we are pleased to have him join the Particles Plus management team,” states Giandomenico.
