Tokyo, Japan – April 13-14, 2021 –Particles Plus Japan, was in attendance and exhibiting at the 38th Annual Japan Air Cleaning Association technical meeting.  The event was a live, in-person event with a virtual meeting for the technical sessions also offered.  Over 200 members were in attendance to discuss air cleaning, contamination control, measurement, and research.

The Japan Air Cleaning Association has been established since 1963 and provides technical improvement in the air cleaning industry. Their goal is the sharing of knowledge and the improvement of environmental clean air.  The association is known for providing research for government, testing performance for filtration and testing emissions, and organizing technical committees for the making of standards, guidelines, and manuals.  The annual conference was well attended, and many papers were COVID-19 related for indoor air quality and the filtration and ventilation effects on helping reduce the spread of the virus.

Masato Mizuno, President of Particles Plus Limited in Japan was on hand to demonstrate and explain the technical benefits of the Particles Plus particle counters and air quality monitors.  Mr. Mizuno stated “A focus on particle detection for compressed air for food industry has become very important for consumer safety.  Filtration for commercial and institutional properties is also key for post-COVID isolation with more workers returning to the workplace.”

Particles Plus has been involved with multiple research studies within the USA and abroad with products providing the measured values and reliable data needed for the many of these ongoing projects.  The focus to provide inexpensive, yet high quality instruments and real time monitors is paramount for Particles Plus Global effort to support air quality research.
