Particles Plus News & Education

Bothell, Washington — May 19, 2026 — Particles Plus Inc. participated in the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) Seattle Chapter educational workshop held in Bothell, Washington, joining indoor air quality professionals, industrial hygienists, environmental consultants, and researchers to discuss emerging environmental and occupational health challenges associated with cannabis production.

The workshop, titled Environmental Hazards of Cannabis Production: Related to Legal and Illicit Grow Operations, explored worker health risks associated with legal cannabis cultivation and processing, as well as indoor environmental concerns linked to illicit grow operations. Presentations examined potential exposures to airborne particulate matter, terpenes, production chemicals, mold, moisture damage, pesticides, and other contaminants that may impact both workers and building occupants. The program also featured case studies highlighting environmental assessments of clandestine cannabis grow sites.

During the event, Particles Plus engaged with indoor air quality professionals and environmental consultants while highlighting its portfolio of particle counting and environmental monitoring instrumentation. These solutions support airborne particulate monitoring for industrial hygiene investigations, indoor air quality assessments, environmental remediation projects, and contamination control applications across commercial, industrial, and regulated environments.
