Stoughton, MA – July 10, 2020 – Particles Plus would like to recognize Dr. Yoshio Otani, for receiving the International Aerosol Fellow Award. This award is presented once every two years by the International Aerosol Fellow Award Society and is granted to individuals who have provided outstanding contributions to aerosol science and technology through research, technical development, education, and service.

Dr. Otani teaches and conducts research at Kanazawa University, Japan. His areas of research include air filtration, aerosol deposition and gas cleaning devices. Dr. Otani is an advisor to Particles Plus and has provided great insights for the improvement and application of their high accuracy particle counters and air quality monitors.

“I have known Dr. Otani for many years and can attest that he is an outstanding scientist, researcher, and teacher in his field. The award validates the merit of his contributions to the aerosol science community. It is worth mentioning he is the first person from Japan to win this award in over 30 years.
