Boston –  Particles Plus announces that Jim Akey has joined the company as Sales Channel Manager.  Working from his office in Oregon, Jim will be supporting distribution and key account management in North America.

“Jim brings a depth of knowledge and 16 years of industry experience to Particles Plus.  Customers will benefit from his application experience in providing solutions for their controlled environment particle monitoring.  We’re extremely happy to welcome Jim as a member of our team of particle counting professionals” states Adam Giandomenico, Particles Plus’ president.

Before joining Particles Plus, Jim spent 5 years as Inside Sales Manager for ART Instruments, a particle counter manufacturer that revolutionized the way that particle counters were assembled.  Jim also spent 9 years working for as Inside Sales Manager for Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions and was most recently the Northwest Sales Manager for Solve Corporation.
